From your first call to your first visit — here’s exactly what happens.
We know uncertainty makes everything harder. So here’s the process, step by step — no surprises, no jargon, no pressure.
Four simple steps to getting started
Most families are up and running within 5–7 days. Here’s what that journey looks like.
Get in touch
Call, email, or fill in our form. There’s no obligation — just an honest conversation about what you’re looking for.
Free home assessment
One of our care coordinators visits to understand your situation, your home, and your preferences — at no cost to you.
Meet your carer
We match you carefully and introduce your carer before care begins. You’ll always know who’s coming through your door.
Care begins — and evolves
We check in regularly and adjust the care plan as needs change. Our support doesn’t end once care starts.
What you can expect from us
These aren’t just promises — they’re the standards every family should be able to count on.
No pressure, no obligation
Every conversation is on your terms. We never push for a quick decision or upsell services you don’t need.
CQC registered and inspected
Regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our record is public and our standards are independently verified.
All carers DBS checked
Every carer is fully vetted, trained, and insured before they ever enter a client’s home.
24/7 on-call support
If something changes overnight or at a weekend, you can reach a real person at Semper Care.
Common questions before starting
We hear these a lot — and they’re exactly the right questions to ask.
How quickly can care start?
For most clients, we can have care in place within 5–7 days of the initial assessment. For urgent situations, we’ll do everything we can to move faster.
What if we want to change carers?
That’s absolutely fine. Fit matters. If something isn’t working, just tell us and we’ll make a change — no awkwardness, no extra cost.
Is there a minimum commitment?
We don’t lock you into long contracts. We want you to stay because the care is good, not because you’re tied in.
Do you cover Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees?
Yes — we serve Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees, including home visits across all three areas. Contact us to confirm coverage in your specific postcode.
How much does care cost? See Paying for care for our hourly rate, funding options (Direct Payments, CHC, Personal Budgets, local authority and self-funded) and what is included.
Ready to take the first step?
It starts with one conversation. No commitment, no pressure — just answers.
